Claire Beauty is an English-friendly brow and semi-permanent makeup studio in Seoul, specializing in natural-looking nano brows and personalized brow restoration.
We see one client at a time in a private, quiet room, so there is time to talk through what you want before anything is drawn. Each brow is designed around your face shape, skin tone, skin type and the brow hair you already have.
The studio is set up for international residents of Korea and visitors to Seoul. We are about a 6–7 minute walk from Sinchon Station (Line 2, Exit 3), close to Hongdae.
Nano brows
Nano brows are a newer technique than microblading. Instead of a blade cutting the skin, a machine with a single, very fine needle places pigment in hair-like strokes. Done well, they blend with your own brow hair and look like brows, not like a tattoo.
- Gentler on the skin: less trauma than microblading, so redness, scabbing and healing are usually lighter
- More natural-looking: each stroke can be made close to the thickness of a real brow hair
- Longer-lasting than microblading for most skin types, and suitable for a wider variety of skin, including oily and delicate skin
- Strokes follow the direction your hair grows, in a color chosen for your skin tone and hair

Brow restoration
Nano brows aren’t only about prettier brows. Many people come to us because something is missing: a brow broken by a scar, brows that have partly disappeared, brows lost during medical treatment, or brows they never really had. Sometimes you don’t need a new brow. You just want your old brow back.
Cosmetic pigment can recreate the appearance of brow hair in many of these situations. It cannot grow hair or remove a scar, and it is not right for everyone, so we assess each case individually and tell you honestly what we think is possible.

Your appointment is with Claire from consultation to aftercare. Claire has eight years of experience. She started in Australia and now works in Seoul. The studio specializes in international clients, and Claire has worked with more than 2,000 clients from abroad, customizing each procedure to the person’s skin type, skin tone, facial bone structure and hair color.
The studio is private and quiet, with a heated treatment bed, so you can relax during a long appointment. We take time on design because the shape matters more than anything else in a natural brow.

Where can I get natural nano brows in Seoul?
Claire Beauty is an appointment-only, English-friendly brow studio in Sinchon, Seoul, about a 6–7 minute walk from Sinchon Station (Exit 3) on Line 2 and close to Hongdae. Nano brows are our main service, and we design every brow around your face, skin and natural brow hair.
Whichever studio you choose, ask to see healed results (not only fresh ones), ask how the brow shape will be designed, and make sure the artist explains the process clearly in a language you understand.
What is the difference between nano brows and microblading?
Both create the look of individual brow hairs. Nano brows use a machine with a single fine needle, while microblading uses a hand tool with a row of tiny needles that makes fine cuts in the skin.
Nano brows are the newer technique. For most clients they cause less skin trauma, give softer, more realistic strokes and tend to last longer than microblading, and they suit a wider variety of skin types, including oilier or more delicate skin. Microblading can give very crisp strokes on suitable skin, and results vary with skin type and aftercare. Your skin type, your existing brow hair and the look you want decide which one makes sense, and we will tell you honestly if we think a different technique would suit you better.
Can nano brows help make sparse eyebrows look fuller?
Often, yes. Hair-like strokes placed between your own hairs can make sparse brows look fuller and more even.
Nano brows do not make hair grow. They add pigment that imitates hair. How natural the result looks depends on your skin, how much hair you have, and whether the area has old tattoo pigment or scarring. Very sparse brows sometimes look better with soft shading added (combo brows), and we will talk this through at your consultation.
Can I get nano brows during a short trip to Korea?
Often, yes, if the appointment is planned around your healing and travel. A nano brows appointment takes about 2 hours 30 minutes, and the first one to two weeks of healing need some care.
Book as early in your trip as you can, and avoid planning swimming, saunas, hot springs, heavy exercise or long days in strong sun straight afterwards. You don’t need to come back for a touch-up: Claire works especially carefully in the first session so that visitors usually don’t need one. If you are in Seoul again within six weeks and would like one: Complimentary touch-up within 6 weeks of your first appointment (about 30 minutes to 1 hour), for clients who had their original treatment at Claire Beauty. Whether you are suitable depends on your skin, health and any recent treatments, so please message us with your travel dates before you book.
How much do nano brows cost in Seoul?

Can I get nano brows over an old eyebrow tattoo?
Sometimes. It depends on how faded the old tattoo is, its color, and its shape.
A soft, faded tattoo in a neutral tone can often be worked over with new strokes. A tattoo that is still dark, very solid, or has turned red, orange, grey or blue may need to be lightened first by a removal specialist, or may limit what new pigment can achieve. Please send clear photos without makeup so we can give you an honest opinion before you book.

By subway
Take Line 2 to Sinchon Station. The studio is about 6–7 minutes on foot, in the Sinchon area between Yonsei University and Hongdae.
- Take Exit 3 at Sinchon Station (Line 2) and walk straight for about 3 minutes.
- When you see Photogray on your right, turn right at Photogray.
- Walk about 3 more minutes, then turn right into the small alley just before Olive Young on your right.
- The entrance is under a black “Choco Blossom” awning, to the left of the Hong Gopchang (홍곱창) restaurant. The studio is on the third floor.
Access
The studio is on the third floor and there is no elevator. If stairs are difficult for you, please tell us before booking.
Parking
There is no parking at the studio. A paid parking lot is about two minutes away on foot.
